Warsaw Man Injured after Jeep Overturns

A 79-year old Warsaw man was taken to a Columbia hospital Friday evening after his Jeep overturned in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at 6:00, in the 29000 block of Route MM.

According to the online crash report, a 2007 Jeep traveled off the road, overturned, and struck a fence before coming to rest.

The driver, 79-year old Earl D. Lumsden, suffered serious injuries in the wreck. Lumsden was taken by air ambulance to University Hospital for treatment.

The Jeep was totaled and towed.
