Warsaw Man Injured After Truck Strikes Tree

A 30-year old Warsaw man was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center early Friday morning after his truck hit a tree in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident just before 6:00, at Highway MM and Stonecrest Road.

According to the online crash report, the driver of an eastbound 1999 Dodge 1500 failed to negotiate a curve, causing the truck to travel off the left side of the road and strike a tree.

The driver, 30-year old Matthew C. Wilson, suffered moderate injuries in the wreck. He was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

According to the report, the Dodge was totaled and towed.
