Warsaw Man Injured in Cow vs Car Accident

A Warsaw man suffered moderate injuries Monday night in a one-vehicle accident after striking a cow in the roadway in Henry County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 47-year-old Michael A. Baker was the driver of an eastbound 2013 Chevy Cruze on Missouri 7, one-tenth of a mile east of County Road SE 991 at 9:55 p.m. when the vehicle struck a cow.

Baker was wearing a safety device at the time. He suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital.

The Cruze was totaled and towed from the scene.

Henry County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
