Warsaw Man Injured in Two-vehicle Crash Just South of Sedalia

A Warsaw man was injured in a two-car crash that occurred just after 1:30 Monday afternoon on 65 Highway near the Flat Creek Bridge.

The accident happened when a northbound 1985 Peterbuilt Tractor Trailer driven by 38-year-old Jason D. Salley of Warsaw, struck the rear of a northbound 1997 Buick driven by 57-year-old Melanie S. Weatherby of Lincoln. Weatherby was making a right-hand turn at the time.

Salley suffered minor injuries and was released from the scene. Both drivers were wearing a safety device, the patrol said. Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted by Pettis County deputies at the scene.
