Warsaw Resident Injured after Vehicle Strikes Embankment, Tree

A 31-year old Warsaw woman was injured Thursday afternoon in a one-vehicle Benton County wreck.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at approximately 12:20, on Highway H just east Spring Lake Drive.

According to the online crash report, a 2004 Pontiac traveled off the road, struck an embankment, traveled through a ditch, and then hit a tree, causing the Pontiac to turn over on its side before returning to its wheels and finally coming to rest.

The driver, Rachel A. Hall, of Warsaw, suffered minor injuries. Hall was taken to Golden Valley hospital for treatment. The vehicle sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
