Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop just after 2 a.m. on October 20 that led to the arrest of a Warsaw woman.

The stop took place in the area of West 17th Street and South Moniteau Avenue. Sedalia Police say a silver Nissan was stopped for having no license plate lights and an improperly affixed rear license plate.

According to police, a passenger in the Nissan, 20-year-old Charity Shyayne Marie Card, provided a fake identity to officers to avoid getting arrested for a felony no bond warrant from Clay County. Police discovered Card's real identity and arrested her for Identity Theft, in addition to the Clay County Warrant.

Card was taken to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a  24-hour hold.
