Wayne Joseph Pritchard, 81, of Sedalia, passed away, Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Bothwell Regional Health Center. He was born on December 18, 1930, in Witchita, KS, a son of Sherman and Mary (Kennedy) Pritchard.

On June 22, 1949 at Sacred Heart Church, Sedalia, he was united in marriage to Erma Lee Wear, who survives of the home.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family. Wayne had a special interest in woodworking and antiques. He served his country honorably in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Sedalia.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Nancy Beth Crafton of Sedalia; one sister, Regina Pritchard Shuber of Sedalia; two grandchildren, Ami and Nick Crafton and one great granddaughter, Chloee Crafton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Robin Lee Pritchard.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, August 25, 2012, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia with Father Mark Miller officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sedalia.

Pallbearers will be Mike Howard, Porter White, Richard Dean, Joe Crafton and Nick Crafton
