Wesley Lee Sarver, 85, of Sedalia passed away June 28, 2015 in Sedalia, MO.  He was born on August 24, 1929 in Parisburg, VA a son of Warren Sarver and Fern Hunter Sarver, who preceded him in death.

On December 31, 1952 in Blacksburg, VA, he was united in marriage to Betty Jo Ratcliffe, who passed away October 23, 2002.

He joined the United States Air Force on September 30, 1950 and served his country honorably. After leaving the Air Force Wesley operated a service station until 1960. In 1961 he began working with Central Airlines which later merged with Frontier Airlines from which he retired in 1986. In 1989 he left retirement to work for Walt Disney World until 2000 when he retired to Sedalia, MO. Wesley was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Wesley is survived by his daughter Lisa Allison of Indianapolis, IN and his son Joseph and wife Michelle Sarver of Sedalia, MO; five grandchildren, Angelique, Ethan, Jacob, Samuel and Aiden; and one great grandchild, Chiana.

In addition to his parents, Wesley was preceded in death by his son Steven Sarver and four siblings, Douglas Sarver, Kellum Sarver, Gerlene Sarver and Margaret Sarver.

Memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, MO with Bishop Anthony Beard, officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.

At a later date, there will be a private burial of his ashes at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia, MO.
