What Restaurants Should Come to Sedalia?

We’ve covered shopping, so let’s continue the pipe dream by bringing some new restaurants to town.  There was much excitement recently with the opening of Panera Bread Company and Freddie’s Steakburgers, and we already have some great places to eat, but there are a few places that would be pretty great if we had them in town.

Starting with fast food, I’m going to say we need a Popeye’s Chicken.  I’m a huge fan of the Cajun spicy recipe.  Throw in some red beans and rice and a biscuit and I’m in artery hardening heaven.

Then come the “sit down” places.  My pick for that is a tie between Red Lobster and The Outback Steakhouse.  Red Lobster for their great seafood and cheddar biscuits, and the Outback for their rack of lamb.

What about you?  If you could have any eatery come to Sedalia, which do you think would be best?
