When Do You Put Up Your Christmas Lights? [POLL]

We're all about getting into the spirit of the holidays around here at the station (if you don't believe us, just check out our Online Christmas Radio Station), but sometimes, folks can get excited just a little too early.

I'm not going to name streets, but the other evening I saw some Christmas lights lit up on somebody's house near Liberty Park.  I was quite surprised to see them up so early since we haven't even had Thanksgiving yet.  My parents always said that the rule of thumb was to not hang your lights before Thanksgiving.  Of course, those lights were up and lit before we finished the turkey and stuffing leftovers.

What about you?  Tell us when the appropriate time is to get those Christmas lights on the house.  Personally, I think anytime before Thanksgiving is too early, but I suppose having them out now is no worse than having Christmas music available on your website.
