Willa Mae Warren, 91, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at Good Samaritan Care Center in Cole Camp.

She was born June 13, 1922, in Sedalia, daughter of Carl Robert Johnson and Etta A. (Beard) Johnson. On October 4, 1944, in Kansas City, she married Peter Paul Warren, who preceded her in death on December 7, 2012.

Mrs. Warren enjoyed reading, making crafts and gardening. She was a loving wife and mother. She was a member of First Assembly of God.

Surviving are two daughters, Gloria Cowan (K.C.), of Chippewa Falls, WI, and Mildred Zey (Roland), of Troy, IL; a son, Pete Warren (Nancy),of Sedalia; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Johnson, of Cheyenne, WY.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita Cunningham and Mildred Bennett; and two brothers, Carl Johnson and Norris Johnson.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Barrett officiating.

Casket bearers will be Bob Meyer, Donald Hicks, Bill Meyer, Joe Kowalski, Kevin Phillips, and John Warren.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time Saturday at Heckart Funeral Home.
