Emergency Snow Routes In Effect
The City of Sedalia has activated the EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES on the basis of the weather forecast of snow effective Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.
Per City ordinance, the City's Emergency Snow Routes may be made effective on the basis of falling snow, sleet or freezing rain, or on the basis of a forecast of snow, sleet or freezing rain. Emergency Snow Routes may also be automatically activated when Sedalia receives snow and ice accumulations of 2 inches or more. During this activation, parking is prohibited on the streets designated as Emergency Snow Routes.The parking prohibition will be in effect until terminated by announcement or the street is substantially clear of snow and ice from curb to curb for the length of the entire block.
Violator's automobiles will be towed.
