Woman Accused of Bringing Narcotics Into Pettis County Jail
An Odessa woman was arrested following a traffic stop in Sedalia. Police say that after being taken to the Pettis County Jail, a search revealed methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
According to Sedalia Police, a green passenger vehicle was stopped in the 1700 block of West Broadway for driving without license plates. Officers discovered that the driver, 40-year-old Heather Graff of Odessa, had a suspended driver's license, and a failure to appear warrant out of Warrensburg.
Graff was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, where the drugs and paraphernalia were reportedly discovered during a search by a female jailer. Graff was placed on a 24-hour hold, pending state charges of driving while suspended, introducing contraband to a jail, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
