A 49-year-old woman was arrested on charges of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender and misdemeanor Failure to Appear, after Sedalia Police were called to the 300 block of South Grand Avenue.

According to a Sedalia Police Report, officers were dispatched on October 6 to investigate a possible disturbance. Officers made contact with the suspect, 49-year-old Dana Pearl Speilbusch, and found that she was wanted on four Jackson County warrants.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Sex Offender Registry shows that Speilbusch was convicted in 1999 of 1st Degree Statutory Rape and 1st Degree Statutory Sodomy against a 14-year-old female victim.

Speilbusch was arrested, transported and booked into the Pettis County Jail.
