Yolanda Sue Paxton, 55, of Perryville, MO, formerly of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at her home. She was born on June 18, 1958 in Anchorage, Alaska, a daughter of Clinton and Alberta (Sparks) Morgan, who preceded her in death.

Yolanda loved hunting for arrowheads, spending time with her grandchildren, and fishing. She was proud of her Native American heritage and enjoyed traveling around the state going to pow wows.

She is survived by three children, Chris (Ashley) Paxton, Shaun Paxton, and Brandi Paxton, all of Sedalia; one sister, Pamela Burns of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Tommy Grogg of Memphis, Tennessee; and seven grandchildren, Dylan, Ali, Rylee, Karleigh, Laney, Kayden, and Kyelar.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, April Morgan, and one brother, Paul Morgan.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Rev. Tony Chapman officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel one hour prior to service.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
