
1 Arrested, 1 Injured in Johnson County Wreck
A 24-year old Knob Noster woman was injured and a 47-year old Clinton woman was arrested Sunday afternoon in a Johnson County vehicle wreck.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the incident just after 4:00, on MO-2 at Route EE.
According to the online crash report, a 2006 Ford, driven by 24-year old Kristen K. Mclaughlin, of Knob Noster, slowed down to turn, when it was struck in the rear by a 2001 Ford, driven by 47-year old Louann L. Goss, of Clinton.
After the impact, the Goss vehicle fled east on Route EE. The Mclaughin vehicle was moved to a private drive in Leeton, MO.
Mclaughlin suffered minor injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.
A short time later, Goss was arrested in Henry County for 2nd Degree Felony Assault, DWI and Driving While Suspended. She was taken to the Henry County Jail.
