2 Arrested in Moniteau County for Meth

Moniteau County authorities recently arrested two people from Fortuna, MO on drug charges.

The Moniteau County Sheriff's Department says on August 6, deputies responded to a report of a subject shooting firearms.

Deputies made contact with 52-year old Kevin. D. Burnett and 34-year old Jennifer L. Eldridge, both of Fortuna.

Deputies reportedly were granted consent to search the residence, where they located methamphetamine and marijuana.

Burnett and Eldridge were arrested and taken to the Moniteau County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth).

Burnett had a bond of $25,000.00, while Eldridge had an O/R bond.
