2 Clarksburg Residents Arrested for Meth, Heroin
Moniteau County authorities recently arrested two residents from Clarksburg, MO on drug charges.
The Moniteau County Sheriff's Office says on June 12, deputies received two separate calls of a vehicle driving erratically and weaving on Highway 87.
Deputies located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop south of Highway T.
The driver was identified as 38-year old Abra S. Stone, of Clarksburg. Deputies reportedly observed an unresponsive passenger, identified as 38-year old Nicholas Scott, also of Clarksburg.
Authorities woke Scott up and spoke to both subjects. According to a press release from the Moniteau County Sheriff's Office, deputies were granted a consent to search the vehicle, where they located a "substantial" amount of methamphetamine and a small amount of heroin.
Scott and Stone were arrested and taken to the Moniteau County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance and 2nd Degree Drug Trafficking with no bond.
Upon arrival at the jail, Scott became unresponsive and then taken to a hospital for a possible drug overdose. No further information was available on Scott's condition.
