Two Cole Camp residents were injured Friday evening in a two-vehicle Benton County wreck.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident just before 6:00, on MO-52 west of Dodge Pond Avenue.

According to the online crash report, a Ford F250 crossed the center line and struck a Dodge Dakota. The Ford traveled off the road, overturned and struck a fence. The Dodge also traveled off the road, striking a fence.

The driver of the Ford, 42-year old Timothy B. Stutes, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Centerpoint Medical Center for treatment.

The driver of the Dodge, 65-year old Connie L. Corpening, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene. The Benton County Sheriff's Department assisted the Patrol.
