Three people suffered serious injuries over the weekend in a Johnson County vehicle collision. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at approximately 9:45 Saturday morning, on NW 61 Road at NW Route W.

According to the online crash report, a 2002 Pontiac struck a 2017 Toyota Corolla.

The driver of the Pontiac, 39-year old Tara M. Tracy, of Kingsville, suffered serious injuries. She was taken to Research Medical Center, by LifeFlight, for treatment.

The driver of the Toyota, 23-year old Nettie M. Watkins, also of Kingsville, and a passenger, 27-year old Kevin M. Kamau, of Warrensburg, suffered serious injuries in the wreck. Watkins and Kamau were taken to Research Medical Center, by JCAD, for treatment.

The report indicates both vehicles were totaled and the investigation is continuing.
