3-Year-Old Missouri Boy Dies After Being Run Over by Car
REPUBLIC, Mo. (AP) — A 3-year old southwest Missouri boy who was run over by a car in a driveway has died.
Police say the boy died after being run over Thursday evening at a home in Republic.
KYTV-TV reports police said a family friend was leaving the home and ran over what he thought was a rock while backing up. But it was the boy, who was behind the car.
He was taken to a Springfield hospital and died Friday morning. The boy's name was not released.
