75-Year-Old Warrensburg Man Injured in One Vehicle Accident
A 75-year-old Warrensburg man was injured in a one-vehicle accident after the driver reportedly fell asleep.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident around 6:30 Friday morning on MO-58, just west of Route BB in Cass County.
According to the online crash report, the driver of an eastbound 2009 Ford Flex, 38-year-old Jennifer K. Michael, reportedly fell asleep. The Ford then traveled off the right side of the road and struck a creek bed.
The driver was not injured, according to the report. However, a passenger in the vehicle, 75-year-old Steven E. Draves, of Warrensburg, suffered moderate injuries. He was taken to Lee's Summit Medical Center for treatment.
