A Clinton Man was Injured in a Wednesday Afternoon Accident

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an injury accident Wednesday afternoon in Johnson County.

The accident occurred on Missouri Highway 2, east of County Road Southwest 1521.

A 2009 Yamaha swerved to miss a dog in the road. The Yamaha traveled off the rightside of the roadway and struck a tree. 66-year old Leonard L. Brown, of Clinton, suffered moderate injuries in the accident and was taken to Centerpoint Medical Center for treatment.
