A Popular Missouri Pizza Staple Will Now Be Available In Frozen Aisle. Which One?
Being from Chicago area, one thing that I know and can really appreciate is really good pizza. Whether it is thin crust, deep dish, stuffed, or whatever, it is all good.
In Sedalia we have major chains like Papa Johns, Little Caesars, Domino's and Pizza Hut. Mazzio's has good pizza, Casey's is underrated and Fazoli's I have yet to try.
A very popular Missouri pizza chain is Imo's Pizza. There are ones in Columbia and Jefferson City that I have eaten at before, and their St Louis style pizza has been around for 58 years. If you have ever enjoyed it, and wish you could get it in Sedalia, you may now get your chance.
The frozen pizzas will be available for purchase by October 3 at St. Louis area retailers including Schnucks, Dierbergs, Straub’s, and Walmart. The frozen pizzas will also be available in other cities in the Show-Me State along with Alabama, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Illinois, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Virginia.

The available varieties include cheese, sausage, pepperoni, bacon, deluxe (sausage, bacon, green peppers, mushrooms, onion), four meat (sausage, pepperoni, bacon, Canadian bacon), and sausage and pepperoni. You can get more info HERE.
I am curious if the company will be able to ship them to you if there is not a location near you to obtain them. I know that my family back home has sent me Lou Malnati's pizza in the mail. It comes packed in dry-ice and you just pop it in your freezer and take it out when you are ready. If Imo's has this available, take advantage of it. Their Facebook page link is HERE.
I probably could eat pizza several days a week, just as long as it is from different places. Papa Murphy's is really good too and they have some great specialty ones. I do think an Imo's would do well if they ever get a location here.
