A Warrensburg Man was Injured in an Early Morning Vehicle Accident

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident in Johnson County that injured a man, early Thursday morning.

The accident occurred around 6:35 on Route UU, just east of Northwest 721 Road.

A 2006 Honda Accord was traveling west bound, when it traveled off the left side of the road, struck a fence, and overturned.

The driver, identified as 40-year old Timothy P. Wieland, of Warrensburg, suffered moderate injuries in the accident. He was transported to Lee’s Summit Medical Center, by the Johnson County Ambulance District, for treatment.

According to the report, the Honda Accord was totaled in the accident.
