Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident May 1 on Route C in Cole County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2003 Chevy Silverado failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the roadway and struck a 2005 Dodge Caravan. 85-year-old Elmer Kiesling of Jefferson City, and 21-year-old William T. Williams of Russellville were both taken by Life Flight to University Hospital.

Two residents of Euguene, Missouri, 26-year-old Bethany Crow and 50-year-old Sally Wright, were taken by ambulance to St. Mary's Hospital for the treatment of minor to serious injuries. Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene.
