24-year old woman arrested Friday on a probation violation

At 10:27 Friday morning Sedalia police went to a residence in the 300n block of McAnnally Court on a suspect with a no-bond probation violation warrant. Upon arrival officers made contact with the suspect, 24-year-old LaTara Buckner of the residence. Following confirmation of the warrant she was taken into custody, and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending contact with her probation officer and extradition back to the Missouri Department of Corrections.

Brookfield man arrested during a vehicle stop with a suspended license

Around 8:40 Friday night Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at 15th and Ingram with suspended driver. Upon confirmation 28-year-old Joseph Cordray of Brookfield was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a $533.50 bond.

Traffic stops nets suspects with warrant

Just after 4:30 Friday afternoon Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at North Engineer and Howard for not signaling a turn. A check on the occupants revealed one of them 21-year-old Heidi Waggoner of Sedalia had a failure to appear warrant out of Rock Port Missouri. At the time of the police report Waggoner was being held pending a $243.50 bond.

Just after 8:30 Friday morning Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at 20th and Kentucky for failure t0o stop at a stop sign. During an investigation a passenger identified as 29-year-old Dustin Johnson of Sedalia was found to have an active warrant out of the City of Sedalia. Johnson was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a cash bond of $88.50 on the warrant.

Sedalia man arrested Sunday morning during a warrant check

At 11:16 Sunday morning Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check in the 1800 block of South Osage. Upon contact with the suspect, 23-year-old Hernan Ubaldo-Herrera of the residence the warrant was confirmed. Herrera was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending an $88.50 cash only bond.

Thieves target homes on both the east side and the west side of Sedalia

Just before 1pm Friday afternoon Sedalia Police took a theft complaint from a female victim in the 1300 block of South Kentucky, Upon contact with the victim she told the officers a subject known to her had entered the residence and took property without authorization. The suspect’s information was given to the officers, and an investigation is on-going.

Turquoise Ring reported stolen Friday night

Around 8:21 Friday night a victim in the 1300 block of East 3rd filed a theft complaint with the Sedalia Police. According to the victim a Turquoise Ring valued at $150 is missing from her residence. The police report also states the victim provided the officers with information on a possible suspect.

Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports

At 5:52 Friday evening Pettis County sheriff’s Deputies took a complaint of child enticement by the internet. The Sheriff’s report states an investigation is ongoing.

Just after 10pm on Sunday Pettis county Sheriff’s deputies took a warrant surrender at the Pettis County sheriff’s Office. Brandon L. Hammonds was found to have a Sedalia Police failure to appear warrant on Hammonds with a $88.50 bond cash only. He was also found to have a Pettis County warrant with a $2500 cash or surety. At the time of the Sheriff’s report Hammonds was being held in the Pettis County Jail pending total bonds of $2588.50.

On Saturday Pettis County Sheriff’s Deputies took a theft complaint from a male victim in the 100 block of Washington Avenue in Smithton. According to the victim a Holly Four Barrel Carburetor was stolen from him during a rummage sale.
