Child abuse case under investigation by Sedalia Police Department

According to a Sedalia police report a complainant came to the police station Sunday evening to report a possible case of child abuse. The complainant told the police a juvenile male was injured at his mother’s home in the 1000 block of South Lamine. The police report states an investigation is ongoing.

Warsaw man arrested on warrants early this (Monday) morning

Around 2:20 this (Monday) morning Sedalia Police responded to the 500 block of West 7th on a suspect in a previous case. Upon arrival the owner of the home gave officers permission to search, and the suspect identified as 32-year-old Michael Paul Noble ll of Warsaw was located. A check through dispatch confirmed Noble had two failure to appear warrants. One of the warrants was out of Pettis County, and the other was a Sedalia Municipal Warrant. Noble was arrested and taken to the Pettis county jail pending bonds totaling $2700.

23-year-old Sedalia man arrested on drug related charges Saturday night

At 9:30pm Saturday night Sedalia Police investigated a burglary complaint in the 1400 block of South Summit. During the investigation officers located marijuana, and drug paraphernalia in a vehicle. Arrested at the scene was 23-year-old Francisco R. Carlos of Sedalia. Carlos was transported to the Pettis County Jail where additional marijuana was located on his person. At the time of the police report he was on 24-hour hold pending formal charges possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance in a county jail.

42-year-old Marshall man in jail on a failure to appear warrant

At 8:12 Sunday night the Sedalia police took custody of a man at the Saline County line with a Sedalia warrant. 42-year-old Charles Wayne Montgomery of Marshall was transported to the Pettis County jail pending a bond of $150.

Sedalia man arrested on a failure to appear warrant

Just after 5pm Sunday evening Sedalia police arrested 46-year-old Freddie Thomas Jr. of Sedalia on a Sedalia Municipal Warrant for failure to appear. Thomas was in the Pettis County jail at the time of the police report pending a cash only bond of $88.50.
