Alleged Mower Thief Arrested
On Thursday at 8:18 a.m., Sedalia Police responded to a theft and property damage report in the alleyway between Missouri and Vermont.
The suspect stole a trailer loaded with a bright yellow Cub Cadet Ultima ZT2 mower. The trailer was chained to a carport, which resulted in the carport being drug with it and causing approximately $17,000 worth of damage.

The suspect was later located and arrested. 32-year-old John T. Johnson, II, of Sedalia, was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of state charges for felony stealing and felony property damage.
