American Legion Band Performs Saturday night at Smith-Cotton

The American Legion Band of Greater Kansas City will perform live at the Heckart Performing Arts Center on the Smith-Cotton campus, 2010 Tiger Pride Boulevard, at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 18.

The event takes place on Armed Forces Day, and will feature music celebrating all six branches of the Armed Forces, and the Boy Scouts of America. In addition, there will also be patriotic classics and more at the concert.

Tickets are $12 at the door. Kids ages 12 and under are free.

The concert is being held in association with the George A. Whiteman American Legion Post 642 of Sedalia, and the Dwight Cowles American Legion Post 370 of Overland Park, Kan.
