Area crime reports 6-19-18

On Sunday night around 11 p.m., Sedalia Police arrested 41-year-old Michael A. Agee in the 1400 block of S. Park after police responded to a domestic dispute. According to a report, the girlfriend was assaulted by Agee, who was still on scene when police arrived. He was taken into custody and charged with 3rd Degree Assault.


 

On Saturday, Sedalia Police took a report from a couple who recalled an incident involving six motorcycles that were in front of them on B Highway as they traveled into Sedalia. According to the report, all six slowed suddenly and one turned around to retrieve something in the roadway. Several of the drivers pointed at the couple. And later blocked them at 32nd and Limit, and again at 16th and Limit, where one got off his bike and kicked the driver's door, keyed his vehicle and punched the mirror and glass. The investigation continues.


 

On Saturday at 1:46 a.m., Sedalia Police arrested 33-year-old Troy Carvell Wright of Sedalia. According to a report, a woman pulled up next to a SPD unit abd said her boyfriend was following her. The boyfriend then pulled in behind her. The officer made contact with the boyfriend, who then left and went to Break Time, 808 E. Broadway. A computer check revealed he was wanted on a Pettis County warrant for leaving the scene of an accident. Wright was then taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail with on a $3,500 bond and a court date of July 3.


 

On Sunday around 2 a.m., Vergil A. Edgar reported someone stole his two-year-old chihuahua by a known person in the 400 block of Buckner Court.


 

Sedalia Police arrsted 17-year-old Ira Louis Todd of Sedalia after the complainant said he followed her into Wal-Mart, 3201 W. Broadway, just before midnight Saturday. Todd was charged with violation of an ex parte. He was placed on a 24-hour hold.


 

Casey's, 3050 S. Limit, reported a $26.29 gas drive-off that occurred at 6:18 p.m. June 14.


 

Wood's Express, 703 E. Broadway, reported a 27-gallon gas drive-off that occurred at 6:53 p.m. June 14.


 

On June 14, Sedalia Police took 24-year-old Zachary N.L. Stafford of Sedalia into custody at Gentry and Main June 14 after it was discovered he was highly intoxicated. He was placed on a 12-hour protective custody hold.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 51-year-old Christine E. Grant of Sedalia for Driving While Suspended after conducting a traffic stop at 3rd and Moniteau around 8:30 a.m. Friday. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where she was booked and released.

On Monday, Pettis County deputies towed a vehicle from the area of US 65 and 765 Highway. The vehicle was towed by Don's Truck Towing.


 

On Monday, deputies took a report from Danny Kamery reference damage to a well pump handle.


 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested 43-year-old James L. Ellis of Warsaw at 2:44 p.m. Monday in Benton County. He was charged with Possession of Meth, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and a Lane Violation. He was taken to the Benton County Jail, where he was booked and released.
