Area Law Enforcement Reports for August 21, 2019

Sedalia Police stopped a juvenile for riding his bike in the street without at light at 16th and Thompson at 2:39 a.m. Tuesday. The officer took him home to the 1900 block of South Stewart. Once there, he checked on an outstanding warrant and found that 37-year-old Carl Frank Smith was wanted on a felony Saline County warrant. Smith was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond.

Sedalia Police took a report in the 400 block of South Quincy involving multiple apartments that were broken into, and several items taken on Tuesday morning.

On Tuesday, Pettis County deputies arrested Cheryl Estes on two active warrants in the 6600 block of McVey Road.

On Tuesday, 32-year-old Joshua L. Hartman reported to deputies that someone entered his unlocked vehicle in his driveway on Arator Road in Pettis County and stole prescription medication and other items.
