Area Restaurants Make Best of ‘Tiny Restaurants’ List
What's your favorite local or area restaurant? A new list is out that names the best "tiny restaurants" in Missouri. What is a tiny restaurant? Basically, a small restaurant that is locally owned. I've been to a few of these places. How many have you visited?
OnlyInYourState.com says that restaurants like Joan’s Drive-In in Marshall, Ole Boy’s BBQ in Carrollton, Catalpa in Arrow Rock, and Mugs Up in Columbia are some of the best tiny restaurants in the state. The site lists 14 restaurants in total, from all across the state. The very first restaurant listed is in my hometown of Hannibal - LaBinnah Bistro. Fun fact: LaBinnah is Hannibal spelled backwards.
I recently moved to Sedalia a few months ago, so I haven't had a chance to find all of the "best kept secrets" in the area. If we were to make a list like this just focused on Pettis and Johnson counties, what "tiny restaurants" would be on the list?
