An Auxvasse man was killed by a bulldozer Tuesday in Marion County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 28-year-old Joseph M. Shook of Auxvasse was performing maintenance on a Komatsu bulldozer on private property one mile east of Warren (northwest of Hannibal, northeast Missouri) at 5:43 p.m., when the bulldozer began rolling backwards, striking Shook.

Shook was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:25 p.m., by Marion County Coroner Rick Jones. The body was taken to O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.

Marion County Deputies, Monroe Fire and Monroe Ambulance assisted the Troopers on scene.
