ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (AP) — Bayer plans to close its animal health products plant in St. Joseph. The move will cost 130 employees their jobs. The company says the plant would close by mid-year but sales of the products made there would continue until the inventory is gone. Bayer said in February that it was looking for a buyer for parts of the Bayer HealthCare operation.
