Be In A Music Video Today At The Missouri State Fair

There are lots of things you can do at the Missouri State Fair. There are the Grandstand Concerts. Checking out the interesting things for sale in the commercial building.

Even checking out the butter cow. Today, August 15, there's one thing you can do that you won't find on any State Fair events list.

Our friend Alex Miller, who we met a couple of years ago when he came through as support for Frankie Ballard, is back at the fair this year. He's performing on the Touchstone Energy Stage at the Fair today and tomorrow, August 15 and 16, at 3:30 PM and 7:30 PM CDT.

If you missed his performance a couple of years ago, Alex's expressive voice and traditional approach to Country music are reminiscent of George Straight or Merle Haggard and brought him some early success. In 2021 he was on American Idol, which led to an invitation to perform at the Grand Ole Opry, a record, and a management deal.

Alex took to Facebook late yesterday to invite all those at the Missouri State Fair to join him at 3:30 PM CDT this afternoon, August 15, at the Touchstone Energy Stage where he's shooting a new video and he'd love for us to be in it with him. So if you ever wanted to have that experience, head over to the Touchstone Energy Stage and be part of the fun.

Now, I can't promise the cameras will catch you or make you a video star. Yet, I can promise you you'll hear some great Country music from one of Country Music's future stars. and you'll have a good time. So make sure you check out one of his performances over the next couple of days.

If you can't make it to the Fair, Alex is also scheduled to join us on Kix 105.7 and Awesome 92.3 tomorrow, Wednesday, August 16, at the top of our Fair remote sometime in the 2:00 PM hour.
