Benton County Accident Injures Florida Woman

A Florida woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred in Benton County Thursday night.

According to the MSHP, 58-year-old Angel E. Wooten of Brandon, Fla., was the driver of a northbound 2019 Nissan Rogue on Missouri 7 at Sunhill Road at 7:43 p.m., when the vehicle left the right side of the road, struck a culvert and began to overturn, coming to rest in a ditch.

Wooten suffered moderate injuries and was transported by Life Flight to Research Hospital. She was not wearing a safety device, according to the report.

The Nissan was totaled and towed from the scene.
