Weekly championship points racing returns on Saturday, May 31 to Central Missouri Speedway, featuring USRA Modifieds, Street Stocks, B-Modifieds, Pure Stocks, and guest class Midwest Lightning Sprints, for Better Country KIX 105.7 Radio Race Night.

Here are the start times for KIX 105.7 Radio Race Night. Pit gates open at 4:30 p.m., grandstands at 5, drivers meeting 6:30, hot laps at 7, and racing at 7:30. General admission for adults is $12, Military w/I.D. and Seniors 65+ is $10, kids six to 12 is $5, five years and under is free!

The Midwest Lightning Sprints sponsored by Liquid and Powdercoat Finishes of Kansas City will make their first appearance at CMS in 2014. Tony Layne, the 2013 points champion and Bobby Layne, the 2011 and 2012 points champion, who was recently inducted into the C.A.R.B. Hall of Fame, are a few of the drivers expected to make an appearance this weekend.  Bobby Layne and Mark Billings were the most recent MLS feature winners during the organization’s recent events.

CMS is located 3.5-miles north of Warrensburg, MO from the junction of Highways 50 and 13 in Warrensburg just north of the new Hwy 13 by-pass round-a-bout, or from the Higginsville exit off I-70, head south on Highway 13 for 12 and half miles.
