The Boonslick Regional Library will be holding several different activities and special reading programs for the kids heading back to school this fall.  They'll have an ongoing gaming event on Saturday the 30th of August from 10 -12. The event will be hosted by Pokemon Trading Card Game League called "Team Confuse Ray". Children best served with this activity, early readers through adult -- suggested beginning age is 6 or 7.  Parents will need to be in attendance until child has been there for a few sessions and then may be dropped off ONLY if AGE ELEVEN (11) or older and only after speaking with an organizer EACH time they are dropped off, so that we know how to reach them and who it is okay for children to go with.  They've also got Book Buddies starting up soon, as well as Zinio e mags available at all branches.  I got to talk with Greg Burrell, who is with the branch in Cole Camp, about all the stuff they've got coming up.

Get more information by going to their website or calling (660) 668-3887, and you can always go by at 701 W. Main Street in Cole Camp.

Pikachu-ily yours,
Behka
