Boy Injured When Truck Backs Over Him in Audrain County

A six-year-old boy was injured after a truck backed over him at the Vandalia fairgrounds Tuesday in Audrain County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2008 Ford F-150, driven by 41-year-old Michael J. Klug of Vandalia, was backing out and didn't know there was a six-year-old hiding under the vehicle.

The boy suffered serious injuries, and was flown by Air Evac to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
