Boys & Girls Club Names Distinguished Club Gold Award Winners
Six Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri Club Sites had the honor of being named Distinguished Club Gold Award winners during BGC’s staff and board celebration, held September 20.
The Distinguished Club Award honors Club Sites and their tireless commitment to growth and providing the highest quality programming to members. Sites are awarded points based on their performance in the areas of average daily attendance, membership, family engagement, service projects and data reporting. In order to be distinguished, the Club Site must go above and beyond in each area.
Cole Camp, Dresden, Heber Hunt, Horace Mann, Skyline and Smithton Sites all received Gold Awards for their dedication to excellence during the last school year.
“Achieving gold status is a very high bar to meet and all of the sites worked hard to go above and beyond this year,” said Director of Operations Tyler Hudson. “We’re proud of the staff’s hard work making sure our members were provided the best Club experience possible.”
The Washington Site won a Silver Award and Bronze Awards went to Green Ridge, La Monte, Leeton and the Middle School Site.
“The Distinguished Club honor recognizes Club Sites that have displayed a strong focus on deepening the impact they have on our members and their families to changes lives,” Hudson added. “All the while, reaching additional kids who need a place to belong, to find their own greatness and unleash their full potential.”
