Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri’s members showed off their amazing talents during the seventh annual Rising Stars Talent Show, presented by Bryant Motors, on Wednesday.

It was an evening filled with song, as all six acts performed musical numbers individually and in groups. Fourth grader Brittany White took home the first place individual award for her rendition of the song, “Lost Boy” and the Kinder Camp Mouseketeers took first place group for singing the “Mickey Mouse Club” theme song.

“We know all our members have special talents and it’s wonderful to be able to showcase them in this way,” said Director of Operations Tyler Hudson. “Last year due to health and safety concerns we had a very limited show with no audience. It was great to be able to host this year’s event with a crowd of families, friends and well-wishers cheering their kids on.”

Second place individual went to CLUB member Lydia Furrey for the song “Hero Too,” third place individual winner was third grader Alexis Mundy for “Fight Song.” There was a tie for second-place group winners, with a group from the CLUB singing “Change Your Life” and second grade duo Adalynn and Anna singing “Beautiful Mistakes.”
