Boys & Girls Club Raise $10,500 During Golf Tournament
Nineteen teams spent a day on the links for a good cause Saturday, with the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri’s Putting “Fore” the Kids Golf Tournament.
Held at Triple Creek Golf Course in Cole Camp, the event raised more than $10,500, which will be used for general operational expenses.
In addition to playing, the tournament also offered raffles and games. Winner of the longest drive contest was Kelli Tosti, winner of closest to the pin contest was Todd Nappe and the hole in one winner was Club board member Matt Melville, who scored on hole No. 5, which has a par 4.

“Though the weather was hot, we had a great turnout,” said Director of Development Melissa Boeschen. “We’d like to thank everyone involved in Putting ‘Fore’ the Kids: our volunteers, those who played and especially our three major sponsors, W-K Chevrolet, Missouri Bank II and McCarthy Toyota.”
