Boys & Girls Club To Offer Scholarships To Graduating Seniors

Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri, in partnership with McCarthy Toyota of Sedalia, is proud to once again offer two graduating seniors a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship for their future education efforts.

The Boys & Girls Club Alumni Scholarship invites seniors from the six school districts BGC serves – Smith-Cotton High School, Cole Camp High School, Green Ridge High School, La Monte High School, Leeton High School and Smithton High School – to apply for the funding, which can be used for any post-secondary educational purposes. One Sedalia senior and one senior from an outlying school district will be chosen for the honor.

Interested applicants must have attended a Boys & Girls Club Site for at least two years, have a 3.0 minimum GPA and provide their transcripts and two letters of recommendation. The application is available on Boys & Girls Club’s website at www.bgckids.com/news and is due March 31.
