On Tuesday night, Sedalia Police were dispatched to the area of East 7th and South New York in a continuation of a prior call.

 

According to a report, the suspect forced their way into a home and assaulted one of the residents. The victim ran to the Casey's store at 1601 East Broadway and the suspect pursued them.

 

Once inside the store, the subjects yelled at each other, with the suspect accusing the victim of having prostitutes in their basement, despite the suspect having just been there.

Upon arrival at the store, Officers arrested Sean Sebastian Burke, 49, Homeless. Burke was transported to the Pettis County Jail and held on a 24-hour hold.

 

Charges are being requested for Burglary, Assault in the 1st Degree, and felony Assault in the 2nd Degree.
