The Angler's Port Marine Cabin Fever Sports Show Day 1 is over and Day 2 is ahead of us. Thanks to all those who came out and we invite you back out today (Feb. 8).

We have over 75 booths for you to get into the frame of mind of spring and summer, maybe score a Valentine's Day gift and lots more where that came from.

We had a lot of fun with the Jones Bros. Marine BBQ Contest, put on by Theo Asbury. There were six teams that came out and they donated $300 to B.A.C.A (Bikers Against Child Abuse).

The six teams were Zeiler's Fire House Smoke, Grill & Chill, Crystall BBQ, Haullotte BBQ, Rollen Smoke and Fire On the Mountain. The Top 3 in the categories of chicken, pork and ribs were awarded trophies from Stone Laser Imaging.

In the category of Chicken: 1st place Fire On the Mountain; 2nd place Crystal BBQ; and 3rd place was Grill & Chill

In the category of Pork: 1st place Crystal BBQ; 2nd place Grill & Chill; and 3rd place was Haullotte BBQ.

In the category of Ribs: 1st place Crystal BBQ; 2nd place Haullotte BBQ; and 3rd place Zeiler's Fire House Smoke.

There was also a People's Choice, which Crystal BBQ won with their appetizer.

Day 2 is Sunday, Feb. 8 and the doors open at 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Entry is $4 for adults, $3 if you bring a canned good to donate to the Community Café.

The third annual 3D Archery shoot presented by Mossy Oak Properties and Warsaw Archery was going on in the Lowell Mohler Assembly Hall.

Kevin Walker of Walker Photography went around to the booths as they set up to take photos and also found his way to to the bbq contest and archery in the Lowell Mohler Assembly Hall.
