The Missouri Wing Civil Air Patrol is reaching out to teachers, home school families and youth leaders to participate in its “Aerospace Education Member (AEM)” program.

 

This program promotes aerospace and STEM education in classrooms, homeschools, museums, libraries, or other youth organizations.

 

•Eligibility: Teachers, homeschool coordinators, STEM program leaders, and other educators working with K–12 students in various educational settings.

 

•Participants get FREE STEM kits that do not have to be returned.

 

•AEMs get access to FREE curriculum materials for K–12 aerospace education.

 

•AEMs also get a FREE Teacher Orientation Program (TOP) flight aboard CAP aircraft at local airports.

 

•Cost is $35 for the first year and NO CHARGE/FREE in following years if the educator wants to remain active in the program.

 

•There is no uniform requirement for AEMs or requirement to participate in local unit activities.
