Cardinals fans who collect keepsakes and souvenirs will be fans of at least three of the team's April giveaways.

The Cardinals announced their April promotional giveaways and there seems to be something for everyone.

For opening day there is that traditional giveaway that every team does. The magnet schedule. And that is probably the weakest giveaway the team has scheduled for April.

Bobble-head fans will want to head to Busch Stadium on Saturday April 10 or Sunday April 11 when the Cards take on the Brewers to score a Mystery Hall of Fame Opening Day Car Parade Bobble-head of Stan Musial, Jack Buck or Tony LaRussa.

As the home stand continues vs. the Nationals on Monday April 12, Tuesday April 13, Wednesday April 14 the first 10,000 fans entering the ballpark for each game can score an adult puffy vest with the Cardinals logo on it.

When the Cards return home for a weekend series against the Reds Friday April 23, Saturday April 24 and Sunday April 25 the first 10,000 fans each game will receive a 1944 inspired Cardinals Jersey.

It's the two remaining promotions over the final four games at Busch in April that I think collectors will be interested in. On Monday March 26, Tuesday March 27 and Wednesday March 28 the Cardinals will be giving away a Jack Buck Statue with voice chip to the first 10,000 fan each game. Then on Thursday April 29 the first 10,000 fans will receive a Lou Brock and Bob Gibson Label Pin Set.

I'm not much for bobble-heads and replica statues. It's just one more nick-knack to dust. That said, collectors eat this stuff up and I suspect they'll be in high demand at Busch this April, and on eBay soon after for fans who can't get to the ballpark.
