The Summer Reading Program is underway a Boonslick Regional Library. Children of all ages are able to sign up for the Summer Reading Program for a chance to win prizes from the library and local businesses across Sedalia.
When I was a kid, I used to haunt the libraries here in town like it was my job. I still remember the smell of the books in our local libraries and the excitement when I'd find a book I'd never read before. As I got older, I got into owning my own books. I took a small little sense of pride in knowing that these books were all a part of my history and education.
Everyone is invited to the Katy Depot this Saturday, for the opportunity to meet some of the area’s local authors, do some last minute Christmas shopping, and get your books autographed.

Highlander Theatre.
Holocaust survivor, Eva Mozes Kor, will bring her message of forgiveness in the face of cruelty and evil to the University of Central Missouri in a free, public presentation at noon Friday, October 28, in Elliott Union 236.
