Well, turns out, there is a correct way to say it, and we have been doing it WRONG.

Now this is the part in the movie where the delicate flower of a lady flees, crying while running, pleading for a man to save her.

Only one place in Missouri could be the state's most historic food joint and there's not even a close second.

I promptly lost that somewhere in Greg Weller's yard over on 2nd Street in probably... 1988. Never to be seen again.

Maybe they got a good look at each other's man business and decided none of that needed to see the light of day.

But you've heard the jokes, apparently according to all of them, everyone hates fruitcake. So why is it still a thing? Are we all in denial....or is someone fibbing?!

No, I love it.  It's a little janky, it's not too secure, but it's ours. And it represents us, and that's what I like about it best, I think. 

"What, like a good action sequence don't belong at Christmas?"

Why this is a thing, I have no idea. It just won't be a thing on my plate. 

Well, I find one way to get closer to where you want to be with that conversation is by sharing little facts about the holiday. You know, simple, yet truthful facts about Veterans Day that will help your kid understand a little better when you go to visit Grandpa.
